A little while ago I ranted about Flybe, and how abysmally they were proposing to treat us.

When we got home this afternoon I found a letter from them in reply to my assertive one about reimbursing us for the taxi. They have agreed to pay up.

The swines! :-( How can I go about being indignant about people who act so reasonably!

Luckily, British Airways texted me while we were away to say that due to a strike by firemen at Kirkwall they had to cancel our flight home and rebook us on one the next day, forcing us to extend our holiday without actually making the journey home at all problematical as the new BA flight connected fairly reasonably with the new Flybe one.

However! We had to cancel the (non-refundable) hotel room we'd booked and try to find a new room at short notice in the middle of a music festival.

So now I can argue with BA about getting our hotel bill refunded :-D
