I used to have two identical pairs of trousers and a burgundy tunic.

I used to have a grey paladins t-shirt... :-(

But pink is so much more appropriate for your characters... ;-)

Very pretty, I'm sure they'll suit you ;-)

I'm sure that you can carry off the pink trousers.

I once managed to run the colours of a handmade, hardanger work tablecloth. It was navy fabric with white stitches. Now it has pale lilac stitches, and looks nothing like as good.

Hmmn, they look pretty evenly coloured, not too blotchy - no problem ;-)

But really, how on earth did they come to be washed together?!? I once faintly tinged Skordh's smalls pink by the injudicious inclusion of a red unmentionable that I thought had faded enough to be safe, but I'd've thought your garments there would be a textbook case of "do not mix lights and darks" ;-P

They are very evenly dyed, and I think are entirely wearable. The T-shirt is probably improved over its previous dull grey :-)

As for how it happened: inattention.

I'm normally careful to separate out costume and LadyofAstolat's £5-a-pair folk festival stuff for exactly this reason.

Ah, well, fair enough then ;-) I'd be inclined to agree with you about the T-shirt, but I suspect I'm rather fonder of pink than Elaine is...
