1. Elaborate on your default icon
It's once LadyofAstolat made for me, with a Lego knight in front of a bit of my mail. I've tweaked it for a few different forums, such as by putting my current character's arms on the shield for LARP forums.

2. What's your current relationship status?
Married to LadyofAstolat

3. Ever have a near-death experience?
No.

4. Name an obvious quality you have.
I fill in travelling time with reading or making mail (or both simultaeously), to the extent of not noticing people as I walk past with my head in a book or being able to fix things as I have pliers and rings in my suit pocket.

That's probably a behaviour rather than a quality, though. For a quality: I tend to take things very light-heartedly.

5. What's the name of the song that's stuck in your head right now?
I don't seem to have one at the moment, which is unusual. I have been humming The Curly-headed Ploughboy a lot, and I often break into almost any song to the tune of Cock of the North or Ilkley Moor.

6. Name a celebrity you would marry
Can't think of any off-hand. I'd need to know them and be comfortable with them, and I have no idea what any celebrity is like in person.

7. Who will cut and paste this first?
Probably no-one, as everyone on my friends list has done it already.

8. Has anyone ever said you look like a celebrity?
No.

9. Do you wear a watch? What kind?
Yes, a brass one with a white face and black roman numerals

10. Do you have anything pierced?
No. Unless piercing bits of leather for sewing them into armour/clothing/pouches counts.

11. Do you have any tattoos?
No.

12. Do you like pain?
No.

13. Do you like to shop?
I like to browse through bookshops, computer shops and B&Q, but I don't go out of my way to do it. I normally go in for one specific item and come out with six others.

14. What was the last thing you paid for with cash?
A bottle of milk for the Consortium at work.

15. What was the last thing you paid for with your credit card?
I don't have a credit card. With a debit card, it's probably, uh, dunno actually. It would have been a week or two ago. A couple of desk fans, perhaps?

16. Who was the last person you spoke to on the phone?
A colleague who was wondering whether I had incorporated his comments into a letter yet, or whether he had time to think about them before I finalised the letter.

17. What is on your desktop background?
Nothing. Plain black background, so I can see where the icons are. I don't have a computer so I can stare at the GUI without actually doing anything.

18. What is the background on your cell phone?
No idea. The default one.

19. Do you like redheads?
Colour of hair is entirely irrelevant to me. I can think of some I like, some I dislike.

20. Do you know any twins?
I have twin nephew and neice, that I shall be going to see for the first time in a few weeks. EvilMissBecky's mum and aunt are twins, and LadyofAstolat has some relatives somwhere who are twins.

21. Do you have any weird relatives?
Not really. Oddest is probably the uncle (probably some sort of cousin) who was a missionary in Rwanda, but that's an odd job not an odd person.

22. What was the last movie you watched?
Pirates of the Caribbean 2, I think.

23. What was the last book you read?
I'm currently reading Arms and Armour of the Mediaeval Knight and a cultural history of Early Britain. Last one I finished would be A History of Warfare by John Keegan. Last non-fiction book was Vision of the Future by Timothy Zahn, but that was a couple of weeks ago.
