Ho hum :-( Off to the pub after work then to see if the wind calms down. I just hope I can find a cheap hotel if not.

At least the Duke of Wellington has some good guests at the folk club tonight :D

Sounds like I got back just in time, then, since I was on the 13.45. Very bouncy and scary - more like a rollercoaster than a ferry. Lots of screaming. I was almost sick.

OK, they're back on. Lots of fuss about nothing.

Curiouser and curiouser... It certainly seems very bit as windy now as it did at 2, if not worse. I suspect it was their staff Christmas lunch, and they just used the gales as an excuse. I mean, they never stop the big ferry, and normally the cat keels over way before the RJ does. The cat was still managing it at 14.15, albeit in a rough and alarming fashion.
