It's funny how you find yourself doing the same thing in different contexts.

Last week, I had a discussion about a sacred stone circle with a load of Battlemages who wanted to destroy it.  I very reasonably set out such portions of the truth as seemed good to mention, leaving myself open to answer any questions that could quite reasonably asked while fervently hoping that these obvious gaps wouldn't be explored.

This week, I had a discussion about a set of accounts with a load of auditors...

The question, though, is whether this is a skill you learned from dealing with auditors and have subsequently worked out how to apply to mages, or one you learned from real life and have subsequently worked out how to apply to auditors.
