It's been noted by some people that I haven't posted recently. This is a fair comment. The main reasons have been Guild Wars and Far Cry, to be honest - why type when you can be blatting away at mercenaries with an assault rifle? I like my M16 :-)

So, stuff that's been happening recently:

- Far Cry: bargain bin game which is very good fun. We should maybe try it at Wightfrag though I'm tempted to try another more-realism-less-arcadiness FPS like Battlefield 1942 too.

- Guild Wars: mucking about with the Episode 3 preview and generally pottering around

- Plotting and planning the Morris 18-30 weekend, which isn't far off. Looks like being a very good one, especially since I got £200 from work to pay for the accommodation, which makes the finances sooo much simpler. We can afford to eat now, for example. If anyone wants to come along, please say so.. Must be youngish male; vague interest in morris dancing and/or beer preferred but not essential.

- Finishing off the Morris season. We have a new person joining the side! Hurrah! This is the third since I joined (nigh on 12 years now): one had the least co-ordination I've ever seen including in a box of random Lego bit, though he did try hard, and so left; the other is still with us, but is a silent musician. That is, he plays loudly but never speaks.

- Too many people wanting armour repairs. I fixed up one mail shirt before Summerfest and two or three during it, and I've since had two people email me about armour repairs and two more talk to me direct, one of whom has handed his mail to me to fix at my leisure. I should start charging for consulting.

- People admiring armour. I field-tested my new green shirt on Sunday, and people mocked the green colour and then asked if I could do their favourite shade. They didn't mock the weight, though (about 8 pounds). I should start charging for these things. I wonder if I should try buying in cheap shirts ready-made then tailoring them and pimping them up to look really nice to sell on. Hmmm. Nah - bespoke all the way :-)

- Plotting a Game of Thrones RPG campaign. I must try and find some players at some stage and set a date, but at the moment planning the campaign is more than enough fun. They'd only spoil the carefully-rehearsed set-pieces, after all :-D

- Oh, and in between it's been pretty busy at work. But that doesn't really count.

OK, so you can all stop poking me for a few weeks :-p
